IDENTITY CRISIS

Some time ago two baby chickens were apparently abandoned by their parents and a good Samaritan took pity on them and took them home to raise.  When it was thought that they were big enough they were returned to the farm, but still they were being shunned by the rest of the "Poultry Community".  Yet again a coffee shop client took pity on them, took them home and named them Chicken and Licken.  Sadly Chicken drowned in a pool and Licken came home.  It turns out that Licken is a guinea fowl and not a chicken.

Human intervention has left a huge imprint on her life and hence her obsession with people and total disregard for the other birds.  She is often seen running madly, wings flapping after Sandy (manger of the Second Cup Coffee Shop) and loves a cuddle.

Here are some photos of this beautiful soul.

Next Moonlight Market

Feathers and Fur

Upon entering the gates of the farm you are instantly aware of the tranquillity and peacefulness which surrounds you.  Look carefully through the trees and under the shrubs and you are sure to spot a beautiful cat basking in the sun or a party of poultry creating dust clouds in search of a tasty morsel.
All of the cats on the farm have been sterilized which has been funded by the tenants and through donations from kind visitors and clients.  They are also well fed and cared for on a daily basis and receive veterinary care where necessary.  Any donations of dry food are always gratefully accepted (they are very modest diners and are very happy with CATMOR cat food).
-FEATHERS AND FUR-
It is well worth taking your time and looking up into the beautiful trees to spot the Paradise Fly Catcher who should be sitting on eggs in their ‘teacup’ size nests.
Visitors are kindly requested to respect the animals and birds on the farm and should you bring your dog with you ensure that you keep them on their leashes at all times.
